As the doors opened, the couple broke down and ran into each other’s arms. Their emotional embrace quickly went viral on social media, with fans praising the couple’s strong bond.
The reunion came after a difficult week for Dheeraj inside the show. Host Riteish Deshmukh had previously questioned the actor over a controversy involving secret chits allegedly sent by his family. The messages were reportedly suspected of containing information related to the game.
During Vinny’s visit, wildcard contestant Apoorva Mukhija also jokingly asked her about the contents of the chits she had attempted to send to her husband. Addressing the controversy, Vinny later explained the reason behind her actions and took responsibility for the situation.
In an earlier social media clarification, Vinny said that her actions came from concern for her husband rather than any intention to influence the game.
“In that message, I asked Dheeraj if he was okay. There was no outside information, no strategy, nothing like that. It was just a wife concerned about her husband,” Vinny said, adding, “I made an emotional mistake.”
Despite the controversy and warnings regarding the show’s rules, the emotional reunion appeared to give Dheeraj renewed strength and comfort as he continues his journey inside the reality show.
