Television actors Gaurav Khanna and Shraddha Arya are reportedly being considered for an upcoming fiction show. According to a report by Telly Masala, the two actors could headline a new romantic family drama that is said to be in development under Ektaa Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms. If the casting is finalised, the project would mark the return of both stars to the daily soap format after their respective successful television journeys.

The upcoming series is reportedly set to explore themes of love, relationships and family bonds. The makers are said to be working on a traditional family-oriented drama, although specific details about the storyline and the characters remain under wraps.

Gaurav Khanna gained widespread popularity with his portrayal of Anuj Kapadia in Anupamaa. After exiting the hit daily soap, the actor remained active on television through reality shows. He later emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 19 and is currently participating in Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 15.
Shraddha Arya Set for a Possible Fiction Comeback
Shraddha Arya is best known for playing Preeta in Kundali Bhagya, one of her most popular television roles. After getting married and welcoming twins, the actress stepped away from regular television fiction. She later made a brief appearance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
If the reported project materialises, it could mark Shraddha’s return to daily soaps and her second association with Ektaa Kapoor. It would also introduce viewers to a fresh on-screen pairing with Gaurav Khanna.
