As the romantic comedy continues its theatrical journey, the film’s team recently met veteran actor Kamal Haasan, who congratulated them on the film’s success.

A video shared on social media by the film’s distribution team offered a glimpse of the Bethlehem Kudumba Unit team’s meeting with Kamal Haasan. The legendary actor warmly received the group and interacted with the members for some time. Producer Fahadh Faasil led the team, which later joined Haasan for photographs.

The film centres on Ashley, who relocates to Angamaly with her family and develops feelings for her older neighbour Justin, a warm-hearted caterer who shares her love for music. Although the two form a strong connection, their families disapprove of the relationship because of their age gap, eventually resulting in their separation.
Years later, Ashley returns from Ireland and crosses paths with Justin once again at his brother’s wedding. Their reunion makes them realise that their feelings for each other have never truly disappeared. The couple eventually gets back together and chooses to marry despite facing initial resistance from Ashley’s parents.

Starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead, the film also features Sangeeth Prathap, Roshan Shanavas, Shyam Mohan, Suresh Krishna, Vinay Forrt, Srinda, Meenakshi Raveendran, Sreerenjini, Bindu Panicker, Shameer Khan, Parvathy Ayyappadas, and others in important roles.
Girish AD and Kiran Josey have co-written the film, with Girish AD also serving as director. The project is backed by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, and Syam Pushkaran under the banners of Bhavana Studios, Working Class Hero, and Fahadh Faasil and Friends.
Kamal Haasan’s upcoming projects
Kamal Haasan was most recently seen as the lead in Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life. The film follows Rangaraaya Sakthivel Naicker, who takes a young boy named Amaran under his care after an incident separates two siblings. Years later, Sakthivel returns to discover that his foster son has taken control of his empire, setting the stage for a bitter conflict between the two.
The veteran actor’s next project is a gritty action thriller directed by SU Arun Kumar and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, in which he will play the lead.
He will subsequently reunite with Rajinikanth for an action entertainer tentatively titled KHxRK, which will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Haasan is also attached to Kalki 2, where he will share screen space with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.
