Akanksha Chamola has once again opened up about her personal life on Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa. During a heartfelt conversation on the reality show, the actress revealed that she has no intention of getting married again after her separation from Gaurav Khanna, adding that she now wants to embrace an independent life.

In a recent episode of Lock Upp Season 2, Akanksha had an emotional conversation with fellow contestant Pamala Serena about life after divorce.
Reflecting on her marriage, Akanksha said, “I got married so young, I was married when I was 24.”
As Pamala tried to reassure her by saying she could find love again, Akanksha made it clear that remarriage is not part of her plans.
“I don’t want to get married again. I think I am done. But for the first time in my life, I am going to live alone. Not under my parents’ roof or my husband’s roof. I am going to have my own house. I am going to ride solo for life now,” she said.
Why Akanksha and Gaurav Khanna parted ways
Akanksha had previously revealed on the show that she and Gaurav had been living separately for the past year before deciding to end their marriage.
She later explained that their separation was mutual and largely stemmed from their differing views on starting a family. While Gaurav reportedly wishes to have children, Akanksha shared that she does not see motherhood as part of her future.
“People get married for this. Let’s be honest, 99 percent get married because you want to have kids and continue your family line. He’s not wrong on that… For me, I don’t want to put him in that situation,” she had said.
With her latest remarks, Akanksha has reaffirmed that she is focused on building an independent life and has no plans to remarry following her divorce.
