Main Vaapas Aaunga collected Rs. 75 lakh on its 4th Tuesday, taking the 4th week’s cume to Rs. 6.25 crore in 5 days. The running cume of Imtiaz Ali’s film now stands at Rs. 55.25 crore nett at the Indian box office. The movie is likely to close this week around Rs. 8 to 9 crore, which will take its running cume closer to the Rs. 60 crore nett mark.

Starring Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari, the pre-partition romantic drama will face another significant competitor in the form of Dhamaal 4 next weekend. Based on current trends, the movie is likely to end its theatrical run much under the earlier projected Rs. 70 crore nett mark, somewhere around the Rs. 65 crore mark.

Main Vaapas Aaunga is on track to emerge as a successful venture. Its theatrical journey has nothing less than a miraculous turnaround, where positive word-of-mouth saved it from almost a disastrous verdict.
