Chiyaan Vikram is gearing up to headline Power House, the film that was previously known by its working title Chiyaan63. The official title has now been unveiled through a new promo, marking another collaboration between the Anniyan star and Anand Shankar, who previously directed him in Iru Mugan.

The 3-minute-36-second title promo introduces Chiyaan Vikram as a wedding caterer who works alongside his family. Sarvam Maya actress Riya Shibu plays his eccentric niece, with the opening portions establishing the warm and quirky family equation.
However, the mood changes when Vikram’s character moves away from the family space and enters a storage unit. This shift hints at a much more intense and mysterious side to his life, suggesting that there is considerably more to the protagonist than meets the eye.
The promo also features an energetic soundtrack by Santhosh Narayanan, while actors including Urvashi and VTV Ganesh are part of the cast in important roles. While the makers have not announced a specific release date yet, they have confirmed that Power House will arrive in theatres in 2027.
Earlier, Chiyaan Vikram had announced a project with debutant filmmaker Bodi Rajkumar. Production house Shanti Talkies had shared the announcement, with the film reportedly planned as an action thriller. However, there have been no significant updates on the project since then, and it now appears that the film may not be moving ahead.
The actor was also previously reported to be in talks for a collaboration with filmmaker Madonne Ashwin. That project, too, now appears to have been shelved.
Chiyaan Vikram’s upcoming projects
Chiyaan Vikram was last seen in Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, directed by SU Arun Kumar. The action thriller featured Dushara Vijayan, SJ Suryah and Suraj Venjaramoodu in important roles.
The film revolves around Kaali, a former criminal who has settled into a quiet life running a provision store. His peaceful existence is disrupted when circumstances force him to confront his violent past and protect his family, resulting in a tense series of events unfolding over the course of one night. Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 is currently streaming on Prime Video.
Going forward, Vikram is expected to collaborate with Hi director Vishnu Edavan on a fun family entertainer. The actor had also previously announced a project with 96 filmmaker Prem Kumar, adding another film to his upcoming lineup.
