Comrade Kalyan, featuring Sree Vishnu in the lead, is an upcoming action comedy directed by Janakiram Marella. The makers have officially announced that the film will arrive in cinemas on October 9, 2026, coinciding with the Dussehra festive season.
Comrade Kalyan Release Date
The release date was revealed by the makers through an Independence Day social media announcement. Sharing the update, they teased the film as an ultimate fun entertainer and humorously stated that “Comrade” would not spark a revolution but instead create a “laugh riot.”
The announcement has set the stage for the film’s theatrical release during Dussehra 2026.
Comrade Kalyan Cast and Crew
Produced by Venkata Krishna Karnati and Seetha Karnati under Skanda Vahana Motion Pictures LLP and presented by Kona Venkat Film Corporation, the movie stars Mahima Nambiar as the female lead. Satya and Mukku Avinash are also part of the cast in important roles.
Vijay Bulganin has composed the film’s music as well as its background score.
Sree Vishnu and Mahima Nambiar’s Upcoming Projects
Sree Vishnu was most recently seen in Mrithyunjay, where he portrayed Jay, an ambitious employee at Swecha Newspaper who dreams of securing a position in the organisation’s official department. His life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers suspicious details surrounding a death while carrying out his professional duties.
The film also featured Reba Monica John, Baby Uha, Sudharshan, Raccha Ravi, Ayyappa, Sijju, Aishwarya, Balaaditya and Krishna Koushik, among others.
Sree Vishnu also made an extended cameo as Bhairav Das in Gaayapadda Simham, directed by Kasyap Sreenivas.
Meanwhile, Mahima Nambiar is gearing up for the release of Mandaadi, the Soori-led sports action drama scheduled to hit theatres on September 10, 2026.
