The drama inside Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa continues to intensify with every passing episode. In one of the season’s most surprising moments, actress Gautami Kapoor entered the reality show during the family week and publicly apologized to fellow contestant Shreya Kalra. The emotional exchange came amid the controversy surrounding Ram Kapoor’s alleged behavior toward female contestants, especially Shreya.

Gautami Kapoor apologizes to Shreya Kalra over Ram Kapoor controversy

Over the last few weeks, 30-year-old content creator and contestant Shreya Kalra had openly expressed her discomfort over 52-year-old Ram Kapoor’s conduct inside the Lock Upp house.

Shreya had accused the senior actor of invading her personal space and planting unsolicited kisses on her cheek after tasks. During an earlier conversation with Shilpa Shinde, she said, “Please maintain some boundaries… even my father doesn’t kiss me this much. Don’t kiss me anymore,” explaining that his actions made her uneasy.

Although Gautami Kapoor had initially defended her husband on social media, calling him “all heart,” she adopted a different stance when she entered the house alongside Shreya’s boyfriend, Rishabh Jaiswal.

Approaching Shreya with folded hands, Gautami addressed the issue directly. She said, “Mataji, agar koi galti ho gayi ho toh maaf kar dena. Agar inhone aapko galat touch kiya hai… toh main inke taraf se maafi maangti hoon,” (If Ram has touched you inappropriately or made a mistake, I sincerely apologize on his behalf.)

The actress also extended an apology to the other women contestants if Ram’s behavior had made any of them uncomfortable. Clarifying her stance, she added, “He is just like that. I’m not defending him. He’s like a teddy bear.”

Shreya responded gracefully, accepting Gautami’s apology with a smile and assuring her that she held no ill feelings over the incident.
