Music composer Anirudh Ravichander and entrepreneur Kavya Maran have been at the center of dating speculation for quite some time. Now, a fresh report claims the two may be planning to get married after the release of Jailer 2, which is expected to arrive in theatres this October.
Are Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran getting married in November 2026?
According to Valai Pechu, Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran are reportedly planning to tie the knot during the second week of November 2026. The report further suggests that the wedding could take place after the release of Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, which is slated to hit cinemas on October 15, 2026.
That said, the development remains purely speculative, as neither Anirudh nor Kavya Maran has issued an official statement regarding the marriage rumours.
Previously, Anirudh’s uncle, actor YG Mahendran, had hinted in an interview that the composer’s wedding would happen soon, further fueling speculation surrounding his personal life.
For the uninitiated, Kavya Maran serves as the CEO of the IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad. She is the daughter of Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran and is well known for her role in the business as well as her regular appearances during IPL matches.
Anirudh Ravichander’s upcoming projects
Anirudh Ravichander’s next major release is expected to be Jana Nayagan, directed by H. Vinoth. The film revolves around Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, a former police officer who adopts a young girl named Viji and raises her to become fearless and self-reliant. As India faces a looming national crisis, Vetri Kondan is forced to revisit his past while uncovering the truth behind the growing threat.
Headlined by Thalapathy Vijay, the action drama is widely believed to be the superstar’s final film before entering politics. The cast also includes Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, and Sunil in significant roles. Reports further suggest that filmmakers Atlee, Nelson Dilipkumar, and Lokesh Kanagaraj will make special cameo appearances.
With its censor formalities completed, Jana Nayagan is preparing for release. Although an official release date is yet to be announced, July 24, 2026, is currently being reported as the likely theatrical release date.
Apart from Jana Nayagan, Anirudh is also composing music for DC, Jailer 2, The Paradise, Arasan, and King.
