Yash and Dil Raju planning a Telugu collaboration?

During the pre-release event for Toxic in Hyderabad, Dil Raju was asked if he would be interested in producing a Telugu film with Yash. The producer revealed that a collaboration is being planned and expressed his enthusiasm about the prospect of working with the actor.

However, Dil Raju admitted that the project’s timeline remains uncertain because of Yash’s packed schedule. Despite this, he confirmed that the two intend to collaborate once their schedules align.

More about Toxic

The trailer for Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups introduces Yash as Raya, a volatile and unpredictable character who appears unconcerned about the consequences of his actions. Determined to establish his dominance, Raya leaves destruction and heartbreak behind while refusing to remain loyal to anyone. As his power grows and opposition intensifies, his world descends into chaos, with his own son Ticket emerging as one of his biggest threats.

The film also stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi and Rukmini Vasanth in prominent roles. Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair, Amit Tiwari and several other actors are also part of the ensemble.

The Kannada-English bilingual is set to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam as well. The movie promises stylised visuals, high-octane action, complex characters and intense emotional relationships.

Ravi Basrur has created the background score, while international stunt choreographer JJ Perry and the Anbariv duo have overseen the action sequences.

Toxic was originally announced for a March 19, 2026 theatrical release. The date was later moved to June 4 before the makers eventually shifted the film to August to accommodate a more suitable worldwide release window.

Yash’s upcoming project

Following Toxic, Yash will headline the mythological epic Ramayana alongside Ranbir Kapoor, with Nitesh Tiwari directing. The two-part saga is scheduled to release around Diwali in 2026 and 2027.
