Salman Khan’s birthday surprise for fans
It has become a tradition for the superstar to drop something special on his birthday, and this year was no different. The 1-minute 12-second teaser opens with Salman’s deep, patriotic voice delivering a hair-raising dialogue.
The camera then reveals him in full army uniform, leading his battalion with courage and conviction. From a head injury to wielding a log in his hands, Salman’s character takes on hundreds of enemies with fearless determination, all while wearing that trademark, confident smile. The teaser closes with the line: “Maut se kya darna, ussey toh aana hai”, perfectly capturing the mindset of a valorous soldier.
About the film
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Battle of Galwan stars Salman Khan as Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu, based on the bestselling book India’s Most Fearless, which recounts the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China.
To make the story as authentic as possible, most scenes were shot on real locations in Ladakh, where Salman braved the harsh, freezing weather and even sustained a couple of minor injuries — a first for the actor in his career.
The movie, produced under Salman Khan Films, also features Chitrangada Singh as the female lead. After extensive shooting schedules, the film is now all set for release on April 17, 2026, promising a gripping tale of courage, patriotism, and leadership.
