Shreya Kalra has been making headlines ever since she emerged victorious on Lock Upp 2. Following her big reality-show win, speculation began doing the rounds that the social media influencer could soon enter Bigg Boss 20.
However, Shreya has now put those rumours to rest. The reality star clarified that she currently has no plans to participate in another reality show as a contestant. At the same time, she revealed that she would be interested in exploring opportunities as a host, mentor or gang leader on a reality-based show.
Shreya Kalra rules out Bigg Boss 20 participation
Lock Upp 2 winner Shreya Kalra addressed the ongoing speculation about her possible appearance on Bigg Boss 20. Taking a light-hearted dig at her recent reality-show experience, she said she had only just walked out of a “madhouse” and wasn’t ready to enter another one as a contestant.
Shreya explained that her stint on Lock Upp 2 had been mentally exhausting and extremely demanding, which is why she wants to stay away from competing on another reality show for the time being. She made it clear that she will not be participating in Bigg Boss 20 as a contestant.
Shreya is open to hosting or mentoring
While Shreya has ruled out returning to reality TV as a contestant, she isn’t completely closing the door on reality shows. The influencer said she would happily consider an opportunity to host a show, mentor contestants or even take on a gang leader’s role.
She stressed that competing as a contestant is something she isn’t prepared to do again right now, given the intensity of her recent experience.
Shreya Kalra wins Lock Upp 2
Shreya recently clinched the Lock Upp 2 title after defeating finalists including Shivangi Joshi, Yogesh Rawat, Shilpa Shinde and Ram Kapoor. Along with lifting the trophy, the content creator took home a cash prize of Rs. 1 crore.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 20 is scheduled to premiere on September 6, 2026, with the superstar returning as the show’s host.
