Nagarjuna Akkineni’s landmark 100th film, tentatively titled King100, has been generating significant buzz ever since it was announced. Now, fresh reports suggest that Tabu will play the film’s primary antagonist, marking the duo’s reunion on the big screen after nearly three decades.
Tabu to reunite with Nagarjuna in King100?
According to Variety India, Tabu has been cast as the main antagonist in King100. While the makers are yet to officially confirm her role, the actress had earlier announced her collaboration on the project through social media.
If confirmed, King100 will mark Nagarjuna and Tabu’s first film together in 28 years. The pair last shared screen space in the 1998 Telugu film Aavida Maa Aavide. They previously starred together in the 1996 blockbuster Ninne Pelladata, while Tabu also made a cameo appearance in Nagarjuna’s 1995 film Sisindri.
Directed by Ra Karthik of Made in Korea fame, King100 is reportedly a commercial entertainer centered on the emotional bond between a father and his daughter. Nagarjuna has described the project as a “complete commercial entertainer.”
Reports further suggest that the film will use de-aging technology to portray Nagarjuna at different stages of his life, ranging from 25 to 60 years of age.
Although the makers have not officially unveiled the complete cast, Aishwarya Rajesh is reportedly set to play a pivotal role. Sushmita Bhatt and Vijayendra are also expected to feature in key roles.

Nagarjuna was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie, headlined by Rajinikanth. He portrayed Simon, an influential underworld figure whose past collides with the protagonist’s mission. The action drama also featured Upendra Rao, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, with special appearances by Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde.
As of now, the reports about Tabu playing the antagonist in King100 remain unconfirmed by the filmmakers, and fans are awaiting an official announcement regarding the film’s cast and characters.
