Television actress Dipika Kakar has shared a fresh update on her ongoing cancer treatment through a vlog posted by her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim. The actress, who is undergoing treatment for stage 2 liver cancer, recently visited the hospital for her scheduled immunotherapy infusion.

In the vlog, Dipika was seen resting on a hospital bed while receiving her infusion. Although she appeared tired, she assured fans that she was doing well and that the drowsiness was a side effect of the pre-medication administered before the treatment.

“Everything’s good. I just feel a little dizzy because they gave me a medicine beforehand as pre-medication, which causes drowsiness. That’s all. Otherwise, everything is absolutely fine,” she said.

Shoaib Ibrahim also updated fans about her treatment, revealing that these hospital visits have become a regular part of their lives.

“This has now become a routine every 20–21 days,” he said, referring to Dipika’s scheduled immunotherapy sessions.

He further shared that doctors noticed her iron levels were slightly low during the latest check-up, following which she was also given iron through an IV.

“A couple of things came up. Her iron levels were a little low the last time, so they’re giving her iron through an IV as well. After that, I think we’ll head home in another one-and-a-half to two hours,” Shoaib added.

Unlike their previous hospital visit, which required an overnight stay, this treatment session was completed as a day-care procedure, allowing the couple to return home the same day to be with their son, Ruhaan.

Dipika’s health journey began in May 2025, when doctors detected a large liver tumour that required major surgery. In early 2026, she underwent a Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) procedure after a recurring cyst was found, and subsequent MRI scans detected two additional small cysts. As part of her ongoing treatment plan, the actress now undergoes immunotherapy sessions approximately every three weeks.
