The mystery surrounding the music of Awarapan 2 has finally been resolved. Vishesh Bhatt has reunited with Arijit Singh for the film’s much-awaited track, Yeh Awarapan. The song, composed by Amaal Malik with lyrics by Rashmi Virag, is set to release on July 21 across all major streaming platforms.

According to sources close to the development, Vishesh Bhatt has carefully crafted the soundtrack of Awarapan 2, with Yeh Awarapan serving as one of its emotional highlights.
“Vishesh Bhatt, the creative force behind the Awarapan franchise, has envisioned the music of Awarapan 2 as a defining element of the film. With Yeh Awarapan, he brings to life a song that captures the emotional core of Shivam Pandit’s journey, rendered in the voice of Arijit Singh,” the source revealed.
A reunion that revives a celebrated musical legacy
The source further shared that the collaboration between Arijit Singh and Vishesh Films has played a significant role in shaping modern Hindi film music.
“Vishesh Films was among the first production houses to place its faith in Arijit Singh, introducing audiences to his voice through Phir Mohabbat from Murder 2. That association later evolved into a remarkable musical partnership,” the source said.
Over the years, the duo has delivered several memorable chartbusters, including Tum Hi Ho (Aashiqui 2), Muskurane (CityLights), the title tracks of Khamoshiyan and Hamari Adhuri Kahani, and Pal from Jalebi.
