Chand Mera Dil collected Rs. 1.25 crore on its second Friday, registering a 45 per cent drop from the previous day. The movie took its 8-day theatrical cume to Rs. 19.50 crore nett at the Indian box office. The romantic drama, directed by Vivek Soni, should see a good spike on Saturday and Sunday and close its second weekend around Rs. 23 crore or so.

Backed by Dharma Productions, the movie garnered a mixed bag of reactions, which is somewhat concerning for its box office potential. Had the movie received a positive reception, it would have recorded a much better outing at the box office.

Small and mid-sized movies, especially in this genre, have suffered in the post-pandemic times. However, there were a few exceptions like Saiyaara and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, which were big hits at the box office. Let’s see if Chand Mera Dil can surprise in the coming days.

Day-wise box office collections of Chand Mera Dil are as follows:
Day Box Office
1 Rs. 2.75 crore
2 Rs. 3.50 crore
3 Rs. 4.25 crore
4 Rs. 2.00 crore
5 Rs. 1.75 crore
6 Rs. 1.75 crore
7 Rs. 2.25 crore
8 Rs. 1.25 crore (est.)

Total Rs. 19.50 crore
