Bhooth Bangla continues to record fantastic hold at the box office. The horror-comedy drama added another Rs. 50 lakh to the tally on its 7th Friday. This took its running cume to Rs. 165.25 crore nett at the Indian box office in its 43 days of theatrical run. The movie maintained a strong grip even in its 7th week because of no new significant release this weekend.

The Akshay Kumar starrer is now almost sealed to overtake the lifetime cume of Housefull 5 (Rs. 168 crore), and has chances to close its entire theatrical run around the Rs. 170 crore nett mark in India. That’s a promising total, considering the cost of the film. Khiladi Kumar has been going through a rough patch at the box office post-2020. With back-to-back successful ventures last year and, finally, a Clean Hit with Bhooth Bangla, the actor is back in his element.

The industry tends to have a good time when Akshay Kumar delivers hits. He makes sure to do two or three HITs or successful films a year; it is equally important, as that keeps the box office ticking. This is something where Akshay Kumar stands out, as others in the industry, except Ajay Devgn, have significantly lower output, with some of them taking two or three years for one film instead. The box office in India is star-driven; it cannot be in good shape if leading stars are not bringing films regularly.

The Box Office Collections for Bhooth Bangla in India are as follows:
Day Nett
Week One Rs. 80.25 cr.
Week Two Rs. 40.75 cr.
Week Three Rs. 21.00 cr.
Week Four Rs. 12.00 cr.
Week Five Rs. 6.00 cr.
Week Six Rs. 4.75 cr.
Seventh Friday Rs. 0.50 cr. (est.)

Total Rs. 165.25 cr.
