Naslen is reportedly gearing up for his next major project, which will mark his first collaboration with Kumbalangi Nights director Madhu C. Narayanan. If recent reports are to be believed, the much-awaited film is expected to begin production in July 2026.
Naslen to Team Up with Kumbalangi Nights Director Madhu C. Narayanan
According to a report shared by industry tracker AB George, Naslen is likely to commence shooting for Madhu C. Narayanan’s upcoming directorial venture in July this year.
The project will mark the filmmaker’s return to the director’s chair after a long gap, with pre-production work currently progressing. Reports further suggest that the film will be a musical, with acclaimed composer Rex Vijayan expected to handle both the soundtrack and the background score.
While an official announcement from the makers is still awaited, the reported collaboration has already generated excitement among fans eager to see the actor and director work together for the first time.
Naslen’s Work Front
Naslen was last seen headlining Mollywood Times, which follows the journey of Vineeth Madhavan, an aspiring filmmaker determined to revive Malayalam horror cinema. As he progresses from making short films to directing his dream feature, he faces industry politics, creative conflicts, and personal struggles that challenge both his ambitions and ideals.
Directed by Abhinav Sunder Nayak, the film also stars Sharaf U Dheen, Sreejith Shine, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Sangeeth Prathap, Roshan Shanavas, Gopika Ramesh, and several others in pivotal roles. Mollywood Times is set to premiere on JioHotstar on July 3, 2026.
The actor is also part of Suriya’s upcoming action-comedy, tentatively titled Suriya47, directed by Jithu Madhavan. The film reportedly features Suriya as an unconventional police officer, while Nazriya Nazim Fahadh plays the female lead. With music composed by Sushin Shyam, the project is expected to wrap up filming by the end of June 2026.
Apart from these projects, Naslen has completed shooting for Bachelor Party D’eux. He also has Tiki Taka, starring Asif Ali, and Mattancherry Mafia, headlined by Mammootty and directed by Khalidh Rahman, in his upcoming lineup.
