The anticipation for Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups continues to grow as Yash has officially revealed the release date of the film’s much-awaited trailer. Along with the announcement, the actor shared a striking new poster, confirming that the trailer will be unveiled on August 8, 2026, ahead of the film’s worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026.

Taking to social media, Yash wrote, “The countdown has begun… #ToxicTrailer on 08-08-2026. #Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups In Cinemas Worldwide from 26-08-2026.”
The newly unveiled monochrome poster offers another glimpse into the film’s gritty and stylish world. It features Yash standing alone on a rain-drenched cobblestone street, holding a weapon as bullets fly around him, hinting at the intense action that awaits.
Recently, the makers also introduced Kiara Advani‘s character, Nadia, with a special birthday poster. The image featured the actress in a striking red outfit, holding a matching sakura hand fan. Sharing the poster, the team wrote, “Wishing a very Happy Birthday to our Nadia – @kiaraaliaadvani – Team #Toxic.”

Directed and co-written by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is an action thriller centered around a father-son rivalry.
Alongside Yash and Kiara Advani, the film stars Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth in pivotal roles. The supporting cast includes Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair, Amit Tiwari, and others.
The film features a background score by Ravi Basrur. International stunt coordinator J. J. Perry has choreographed several action sequences, while the Anbariv duo has handled select portions. Cinematography is by Rajeev Ravi.
Apart from Kannada and English, Toxic will also release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
