Ravi Mohan has once again expressed his deep gratitude towards his fans, assuring them that he will never walk away from cinema despite the personal challenges he has faced in recent months.

Speaking at a recent awards ceremony, the actor became emotional as he reflected on his journey in the film industry and the immense support he has received from audiences over the years.
“I believe the love and care a person shows towards themselves are very important. When we learn to take good care of ourselves, we naturally begin to care for the people around us. If I am happy, I can also keep those around me happy. The love people have shown me is greater than any award. I feel truly blessed because of their affection,” he said.
Acknowledging that his recent personal decisions had disappointed some of his supporters, Ravi offered an apology and vowed to return stronger.
“Half of my life has been spent in cinema. I have only one regret—that my personal decision has hurt many people. I ask for your forgiveness. I will not betray you. I will come back stronger as your Santhosh, Kumaran, Dhuruvan, Thani Oruvan, Ponniyin Selvan, and as your Karathey Babu. I am beginning a new phase of my life with happiness,” he said.
Concluding his speech, the actor shared his philosophy on life, saying he would always choose peace over success and happiness over fame.
“Between peace and success, I will always choose peace. To me, true success is the love people have for me. Between fame and happiness, I will choose happiness without any doubt. Beyond being an actor and producer, if people describe me in three words, I hope they say I am a person filled with love, affection, and compassion,” he added.
Ravi Mohan’s upcoming projects
Ravi Mohan was last seen as the primary antagonist in Sudha Kongara’s Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. The period drama also featured Atharvaa Murali and Sreeleela and is currently streaming on ZEE5.
He will next be seen in Karathey Babu, directed by Ganesh K. Babu, which is scheduled to release in theatres on August 28, 2026. The film also stars Daudee Jiwal, KS Ravikumar, Shakthi Vasu, Nasser, and VTV Ganesh in key roles.
Ravi has also joined the cast of Benz, starring Raghava Lawrence. Co-produced by Lokesh Kanagaraj as part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), the film also features Nivin Pauly, who is reportedly playing dual roles, including the primary antagonist.
