Mohanlal’s latest outing, Drishyam 3, continues to wreak havoc at the box office. The movie maintained a strong foot on Tuesday, adding Rs. 13.45 crore to the tally, which took its 6-day cume to Rs. 171 crore gross at the worldwide box office. Of this, around Rs. 51 crore came from Kerala alone, while the rest of the Indian markets contributed a sum of Rs. 29 crore. The Eid-al-adha holidays are expected to benefit the film on Wednesday and Thursday.

The crime thriller, directed by Jeethu Joseph, is all set to wind up its opening week around Rs. 190-195 crore gross mark. That said, the movie is inching towards the Rs. 200 crore club. Drishyam 3 is expected to achieve this milestone, possibly by its second Friday, and then its race towards the biggest grosser will begin.

It will be interesting to see whether the latest Lalettan starrer can overtake Manjummel Boys, L2: Empuraan, and finally Lokah Chapter One: Chandra and emerge as the new Industry Hit. Though surpassing the Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer will not be easy, still there are some hopes.

Day-wise box office collections of Drishyam 3 Worldwide are as follows:
Day Box Office
1 Rs. 43.30 crore
2 Rs. 34.15 crore
3 Rs. 35.30 crore
4 Rs. 29.50 crore
5 Rs. 15.30 crore
6 Rs. 13.45 crore (est.)

Total Rs. 171.00 crore
