Main Vaapas Aaunga

Main Vaapas Aaunga is holding well at the box office. The romantic drama, directed by Imtiaz Ali, added Rs. 1 crore to the tally on its 4th Friday, while losing screens to Alpha and Baby Do Die Do. This took its entire cume to Rs. 50 crore nett at the Indian box office in 22 days of its theatrical run.

Starring Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari, the movie is expected to make a sum of Rs. 5-6 crore or so in the 4th weekend, which will be around 50 per cent lower than its previous weekend. The movie needs to maintain a good momentum in the next few weeks in order to bag a Clean Hit verdict.

Based on current trends, Imtiaz Ali’s film has the potential to smash over Rs. 65 crore to Rs. 70 crore nett in its full run, which will be a superb total for a film like this, which opened with just a crore. A similar kind of reception was seen with Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail, too. It will be interesting to see whether Main Vaapas Aaunga can emerge as a Clean Hit venture like 12th Fail or not.

The Box Office Collections for Main Vaapas Aaunga in India are as follows:

Week One Rs. 11.50 cr.
Week Two Rs. 21.25 cr.
