The drop from Tuesday was 17 per cent, which is a very good hold at this level of collections. With this, the six-day total of the film has reached Rs. 120.25 crore approx, with the full first week headed for Rs. 130 crore.
Karuppu has already emerged as the highest-grossing film for Suriya, surpassing Singam 2, which had held the record for the last thirteen years. The film is on course to collect over Rs. 200 crore, which will be more than double the previous best.
