Punjabi comedy Carry On Jatta 4 continued its steady run at the box office on Tuesday. Starring Gippy Grewal in the lead, the film collected Rs. 1.70 crore on its fifth day, registering a marginal improvement over Monday. With this, its five-day domestic total has reached Rs. 12.85 crore gross.
Based on its current trend, the film is expected to conclude its opening week with around Rs. 15 crore gross at the Indian box office.
Carry On Jatta 4 maintains a healthy weekday hold
While the film has remained stable during the weekdays, its performance is still below the benchmark set by the previous two installments in the franchise. Nevertheless, Carry On Jatta 4 has already secured a Clean Hit verdict at the box office.
Unlike its predecessors, which emerged as All-Time Blockbusters (ATBBs), the latest installment is expected to finish with comparatively lower numbers. However, in the current market, where several Punjabi sequels have struggled, its performance stands out.
Recent follow-ups such as Bambukat 2, Nikka Zaildar 4, and Godday Godday Chaa 2 failed to meet expectations, while Saunkan Saunkanay 2 also couldn’t replicate the success of its predecessor. Against that backdrop, Carry On Jatta 4 has delivered a commendable theatrical run.
