Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros. continued its strong box office run, collecting ₹1.40 crore on its fourth Friday and showing a slight jump from the previous day. With this, its total earnings at the Kerala box office have reached ₹119.50 crore gross.
The film has now gone past the lifetime collection of Thudarum, starring Mohanlal, which had finished its run at ₹118.90 crore. Achieving this milestone in just 23 days, Vaazha 2 has become the second highest-grossing Malayalam film in Kerala.
Next, the film is eyeing the record set by Lokah Chapter One: Chandra, a target it is expected to surpass by the end of its fourth weekend if the current momentum continues.
Looking ahead, a steady performance through the fourth and fifth weeks could push its Kerala total to around ₹140 crore. On the global stage, the film is projected to close its theatrical run near ₹250 crore gross.
Starring Hashir, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak, the coming-of-age comedy drama is directed by Savin Sa and written by Vipin Das. With its success, a third installment in the franchise has already been confirmed.
