What happened on set?
According to a report by Telugu 360, a fire broke out on the set of Spirit, reportedly injuring a crew member. Several tents and set materials are also said to have been damaged in the incident.
Since Prabhas was not present on set at the time, the situation is believed to have been brought under control quickly. However, these details are still based on reports and have not been officially confirmed by the makers.
About Spirit
Spirit is an upcoming cop action drama featuring Prabhas as a fiery IPS officer who is convicted of a crime and later goes undercover to infiltrate a cartel.
Triptii Dimri plays the female lead, while Vivek Oberoi is set to appear as the main antagonist. Aishwarya Desai will also be seen in an important role.
The film is being made on a large scale and will release in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Japanese, Mandarin, and Korean. It is currently scheduled for release on March 5, 2027.
Prabhas’ upcoming projects
Prabhas was last seen in The Raja Saab, a horror-comedy directed by Maruthi. The film follows a young man named Raja who uncovers dark secrets about his grandfather’s spirit haunting a mansion in Hyderabad.
The film features a large ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, and Zarina Wahab. It is currently available for streaming on JioHotstar.
Looking ahead, Prabhas will next appear in Fauzi, a period action film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The film stars Imanvi alongside him, with Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, and Jaya Prada in key roles. It is rumored to release in December 2026, though an official date is yet to be confirmed.
