Dhurandhar: The Revenge is off to a flying start at the U.S. box office, with pre-sales crossing the $2 million mark as of Tuesday morning. The spy action thriller starring Ranveer Singh is showing strong momentum across its first weekend, just three days after surpassing the $1 million milestone. Since the trailer dropped, the buzz around the film has been phenomenal.

Breaking down the pre-sales: Wednesday premieres account for roughly $700K, while Thursday’s opening day adds about $300K. Top locations are already seeing high occupancy, pushing sales into the weekend slots. Friday and Saturday are tracking around $400K each, and Sunday is expected to bring in over $200K.

With eight days still to go before the premieres, the Ranveer Singh-starrer is well on track to hit $4 million in total pre-sales. This would place it alongside the biggest U.S. openings for Indian films, including Baahubali: The Conclusion, RRR, and Kalki 2898 AD, all of which crossed the $4 million mark. While Dhurandhar 2 may or may not surpass them in revenue, it’s poised to sell significantly more tickets, thanks to its more standard pricing of around $14–15 per ticket compared to the $20–30 range for those other films.

The Aditya Dhar-directed sequel could even surpass $10 million in its opening weekend, setting a rare milestone for Bollywood films in North America. Only three Hindi-language films have ever reached that figure across their entire theatrical run — Dhurandhar 2 is aiming to do it in just one weekend.
