According to a report by Aakashavaani, the makers are planning to unveil Spirit’s first-look poster on January 1, 2026, perfectly timed with New Year’s Day. The same report suggests that the film’s release date may also be announced alongside the poster. That said, the team has not made any official confirmation yet, so fans are waiting eagerly for word from the makers.

Spirit is a high-octane cop action drama that will see Prabhas in the role of a fiery and intense IPS officer. Triptii Dimri stars opposite him, while Vivek Oberoi and Prakash Raj play key roles in the film.
The project went on floors after a muhurat ceremony attended by Chiranjeevi as the chief guest. Filming reportedly began with jail sequences, followed by interaction-heavy scenes between Prabhas and Triptii. The film is currently expected to hit theatres by the end of 2026.

Before Spirit, Prabhas will return to cinemas with The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. The fantasy horror-comedy features him as a man looking to make quick money by selling his grandfather’s ancestral mansion—only to find himself tangled in a supernatural mess when a malevolent spirit takes over the property. The film blends humour with horror as his character struggles to escape the eerie situation.
The cast includes Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar as the female leads, with Sanjay Dutt playing the main antagonist. Actors like Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, and Samuthirakani also appear in important roles.
Looking further ahead, the “Rebel Star” has also wrapped up filming for his period action drama Fauzi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Set during the British Indian era, the film reportedly features Prabhas as an Azad Hind soldier and is one of his most ambitious projects yet.
