The team also announced the OTT premiere on social media with a post introducing Suriya’s character Sanjay Vishwanath as an “athlete, billionaire, philanthropist and a loving father.”

Vishwanath & Sons revolves around Sanjay Vishwanath, a successful industrialist and champion shooter who values his independence and has little faith in marriage. His life takes an unexpected turn after he becomes a father through surrogacy.
When his young son develops a health condition that requires assistance from his biological mother, Maddy, a spirited medical student living in San Francisco, is brought into their lives.
Maddy travels to India to help the child and soon develops a close bond with Sanjay’s mother, Nirmala. Her lively personality also brings her closer to Sanjay, despite their considerable age gap and his initial reluctance to enter into a relationship.
When Maddy eventually expresses her feelings for him, Sanjay chooses to maintain his distance and encourages her to focus on completing her medical education. Meanwhile, changing circumstances within the family prompt Sanjay to reconnect with his stepmother and her daughter. This helps him move beyond his long-standing resentment and understand the importance of family.
Six years later, Maddy has completed her medical degree and reconnects with Sanjay and his son. As the trio spends more time together, Sanjay offers Maddy an opportunity to work at a new hospital established in his mother’s memory.
The film concludes on an open-ended note, with Sanjay, Maddy and the child sharing a peaceful moment together and their future relationship left open to interpretation.
