While a stronger jump was expected, the Emraan Hashmi starrer concluded its second weekend with Rs. 21.75 crore. After collecting Rs. 111.50 crore in its opening week, the film’s 10-day total stands at Rs. 133.25 crore nett in India.
Starring Disha Patani, Shabana Azmi and others, the romantic action drama is likely to see a slowdown with Yash’s Toxic arriving in theatres and taking over a significant number of screens. Awarapan 2 is expected to add around Rs. 140 crore by the end of its current week before heading towards its final theatrical total.
Going by the current trend, the Emraan Hashmi-led film is targeting a lifetime collection of around Rs. 150 crore nett. Backed by Vishesh Films, the movie has already secured a Super HIT verdict at the box office.
