Peddi Box Office Collection Day 3: Ram Charan Starrer Maintains Strong Momentum, India Gross Reaches Rs 144 Crore

by masalabuzz

Peddi continued its impressive run at the box office on Saturday, registering an estimated gross collection of Rs. 33.50 crore across India. The film witnessed a healthy growth of around 10 percent compared to Friday, taking its three-day domestic gross total to approximately Rs. 143.50 crore.

With positive momentum carrying into Sunday, the extended four-day opening weekend is expected to conclude in the vicinity of Rs. 180-185 crore gross.

Strong performance in Telugu states

The Telugu-speaking markets remained the backbone of the film’s box-office success. On Saturday alone, Peddi earned around Rs. 24.75 crore from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Nizam recorded a growth of roughly 15 percent over Friday, while Andhra Pradesh saw a marginal decline, particularly in the coastal regions. However, the coastal belt continues to be the film’s strongest-performing territory, with post-opening-day collections comparable to major blockbusters such as Pushpa 2 and Kalki 2898 AD.

A significant jump is expected across Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, which should further strengthen the film’s opening weekend numbers.

Rs. 200 crore mark in sight

The four-day extended opening weekend in the Telugu states alone is projected to finish around Rs. 140 crore gross. Based on current trends, crossing the Rs. 200 crore mark in the region appears highly likely.

The film’s eventual lifetime total will depend on how well it sustains its momentum during the upcoming weekdays and second weekend.

Performance outside Telugu markets

Beyond its home markets, Peddi has performed reasonably well in Karnataka, contributing solid numbers to the overall total. However, the Hindi-dubbed version has not generated the desired response.

While the Hindi release managed a fair start, its growth trajectory has remained subdued, limiting its impact outside the southern markets.
