Evil Dead Burn is now in the final phase of its theatrical run in India. The Hollywood horror film opened on a strong note, collecting Rs. 25 crore in its first week. However, it was unable to maintain the same momentum in the following weeks, adding Rs. 8 crore in Week 2 and Rs. 2.50 crore in Week 3.

The film’s performance took a significant hit after facing Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey in its second week. Its theatrical run was further impacted by the phenomenal success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which dominated screens across the country.

After three weeks, Evil Dead Burn has grossed Rs. 35.50 crore at the Indian box office. It is expected to add around Rs. 1 crore more before concluding its run, taking its estimated lifetime collection to Rs. 36.50 crore.

The film was initially projected to become the highest-grossing title in the Evil Dead franchise in India. However, it is now expected to finish behind its predecessor, which collected Rs. 39 crore. Despite falling short of that milestone, the film has still delivered a respectable box office performance.

Hollywood films have enjoyed an impressive run in India this year, with several original and non-franchise titles outperforming expectations and emerging as successful ventures.
