Chand Mera Dil

Chand Mera Dil wrapped its second week at Rs. 7.90 crore nett, with Rs. 60 lakh coming on its second Thursday. Allied to its first week of Rs. 18.25 crore, the movie took its 14-day cume to Rs. 26.15 crore nett at the Indian box office. With this sort of run, Chand Mera Dil surpassed the lifetime cume of Lakshya’s debut film, Kill.

Directed by Vivek Soni, the movie is now running in its last legs. It is likely to wind up its entire box office run under the Rs. 30 crore mark, which isn’t anything praiseworthy for the film. One must note that these collections came with an activated Buy-One-Get-One offer, almost every weekday.

The Lakshya and Ananya Panday starrer suffered due to mixed talk among the audience. It would have performed far better had it received a favourable word-of-mouth. The ‘rom-com’ space itself is suffering in the post-2020 era, with only a handful of romantic dramas able to break through and emerge as big Hits.

Day-wise box office collections of Chand Mera Dil are as follows:
Day Box Office
1 Rs. 2.75 crore
2 Rs. 3.50 crore
3 Rs. 4.25 crore
4 Rs. 2.00 crore
5 Rs. 1.75 crore
6 Rs. 1.75 crore
7 Rs. 2.25 crore
8 Rs. 1.25 crore
9 Rs. 1.65 crore
10 Rs. 1.70 crore
11 Rs. 0.90 crore
12 Rs. 0.95 crore
13 Rs. 0.80 crore
14 Rs. 0.65 crore (est.)

Total Rs. 26.15 crore nett
