Bhooth Bangla added another Rs. 3.50 crore to its tally in its seventh week at the Indian box office, reflecting a modest 25 percent decline from the previous week. The hold is impressive for a film that is already deep into its theatrical run. After 49 days in cinemas, the Akshay Kumar-led horror comedy has amassed a total of Rs. 168.25 crore nett in India.
Thanks to its sustained box-office performance, Bhooth Bangla has overtaken the lifetime collection of Housefull 5 and now stands as Akshay Kumar’s second-highest-grossing film of the post-2020 period. The only title ahead of it remains Sooryavanshi, which concluded its run with Rs. 196 crore nett.
The past few years have been challenging for Akshay Kumar at the box office, but the actor appears to have turned the tide. Following a string of successful releases last year and now a clean theatrical hit in Bhooth Bangla, the star has regained momentum. He is next gearing up for Welcome To The Jungle, which is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on June 26, 2026.
