Ayushmann Khurrana’s Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, directed by Mudassar Aziz, added another Rs. 80 lakh to the tally on its third Wednesday. The movie took its third week’s cume to Rs. 7.35 crore in 6 days, which took its running box office cume to Rs. 47.60 crore gross at the Indian box office.
The romantic comedy drama is looking to wrap up its entire theatrical run around Rs. 50 crore gross mark, which will not be anything game-changing but somewhat face-saving after a dismal start. These collections should be taken with an asterisk, as they involve some feedings as well.
For the unversed, the original film was a Clean Hit at the box office. The Kartik Aaryan starrer had a full run of Rs. 80 crore nett in India, which is now a tough mark to achieve for rom-coms releasing in the post-2020 era. Had this film been released in the pre-2020 era, it likely would have done much better at the box office.
