Aamir Khan to get into wedlock with Gauri Spratt this week
61-year-old actor Aamir Khan is getting married for the third time. While rumors about his impending wedding with girlfriend Gauri Spratt were circulating around, he recently clarified that the wedding is indeed on the cards.
While interacting with the paparazzi alongside his son, Junaid Khan, Aamir shared his excitement. He revealed, “Haan, meri shaadi ho rahi hai 5 July ko, aur bahut hi chhoti si shaadi hai. Ghar par hi kar rahe hain, dono families ke saath. Kuch khass dost hai. Bahut hi khaas din hai humare liye. Sabki duayein aur blessings chahenge. (Yes, I am getting married on July 5, 2026, and it is going to be a very small, intimate wedding. We are hosting it at home with both our families and some close friends. It is a very special day for us. We seek everyone’s prayers and blessings.)”
When someone asked who the ‘close friends’ attending the wedding are, the Lagaan actor shared, “Purane bachpan ke dost (Old childhood friends.)”
The couple will reportedly register their marriage under the Special Marriage Act at Aamir’s Mumbai home, followed by a small traditional ceremony during the first half of the day. They have chosen not to host a grand Bollywood reception party.
While Gauri has maintained a relatively low profile compared to her superstar partner, she is a highly accomplished entrepreneur and creative professional in her own right.
For the unversed, she was born in Bengaluru and studied fashion design and photography in London. The couple originally crossed paths in Bengaluru. After dating quietly, Aamir introduced Gauri to the media as his partner ahead of his milestone 60th birthday in March 2025.
He also officially introduced Gauri to Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Hence, fans are expecting them to be part of the intimate gathering witnessing the couple’s union.
