Following the massive success of his debut film Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday is set to return to the big screen with another romantic drama. This time, he will share the screen with Sharvari Wagh in an upcoming action-packed entertainer directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
Ahaan Panday and Sharvari Wagh’s Romantic Actioner Gets Release Date
Yash Raj Films has officially locked a release date for its upcoming yet-to-be-titled romantic action film. Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film is scheduled to hit cinemas on March 26, 2027, coinciding with the Good Friday weekend.
The film is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who has helmed projects such as Bharat, Tandav, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
The project also marks the fifth collaboration between Ali Abbas Zafar and Aditya Chopra. The duo has previously worked together on films including Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan, and Tiger Zinda Hai.
A significant portion of the mega-budget entertainer has reportedly been filmed across the United Kingdom, with the film expected to feature a mix of picturesque and gritty locations.
Ahaan Panday will headline the film as the male protagonist. Following his breakthrough with Saiyaara, the actor is reportedly stepping into a more intense action-oriented role and has undergone a significant physical transformation for the character.
Sharvari Wagh will play the female lead, while Bobby Deol is set to bring his trademark intensity to the ensemble. Adding further intrigue to the project, Aaishvary Thackeray will reportedly portray the antagonist and go up against Ahaan’s character.
While the plot details and official title remain under wraps, the film is expected to blend romance, high-octane action, and emotional drama into a large-scale cinematic entertainer.
