Alpha Box Office Collection: Alia Bhatt-Sharvari starrer adds Rs 1.20 crore in Weekend 3; Rs 56 crore finish on cards

YRF’s spy action drama Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, is nearing the end of its theatrical run. The film collected an estimated Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 1.20 crore nett during its third weekend, taking its total domestic collection to Rs. 54.75 crore nett at the Indian box office.

The third weekend witnessed a sharp decline in collections, reflecting the film’s fading theatrical momentum. Based on current trends, Alpha is expected to conclude its box office run at around Rs. 56 crore nett in India.

For a high-budget film backed by the YRF Spy Universe, the final outcome is expected to fall well below expectations. A stronger audience response and positive word-of-mouth could have helped the film sustain a longer run, but the lack of momentum curtailed its box office prospects.

Female-led action films have traditionally found it difficult to draw large theatrical audiences in India, making Alpha a challenging proposition from the outset. The film also arrived at a time when the YRF Spy Universe was attempting to regain its footing following the underwhelming performances of Tiger 3 and War 2.
