Dhamaal 4 Box Office Day 2: Ajay Devgn’s comedy entertainer jumps 60%, collects Rs 36.50 crore in two days

For comparison, Welcome To The Jungle had witnessed a 35 percent increase on its second day, while Bhooth Bangla had grown by around 55 percent.

Going by the current trend, the film is expected to register another healthy jump on Sunday, putting its opening weekend in the vicinity of Rs. 60 crore nett. That would place it on par with the first weekend performance of Welcome To The Jungle.

The strong Saturday growth has certainly strengthened Dhamaal 4‘s chances of emerging as a Hit, but its weekday performance will ultimately determine how successful its theatrical run becomes. Welcome To The Jungle also posted an excellent opening weekend and remained steady on Monday, before a sharp Wednesday decline and fresh competition affected its momentum.

One major advantage for Dhamaal 4 is its relatively uncluttered release calendar. Unlike Welcome To The Jungle, which faced two significant Hindi releases in consecutive weeks, Dhamaal 4 will primarily compete with Hollywood films. While Spider-Man could impact its collections in the fourth week, The Odyssey is aimed at a different audience segment and will largely occupy separate screens. This gives the comedy entertainer an almost uninterrupted three-week run, increasing the possibility of surpassing Welcome To The Jungle‘s lifetime collections, even if its opening week ends slightly behind.
