Cocktail 2 Box Office: Shahid Kapoor-led romantic drama adds Rs. 16 crore in Week 2, theatrical run nearing finish

Cocktail 2, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, collected Rs. 16.30 crore in its second week at the Indian box office, including an estimated Rs. 1 crore on Thursday. Directed by Homi Adajania, the romantic drama witnessed a 75 percent drop from its opening week, indicating a steep decline in momentum.

The film’s second-week collections also fell short of the third-week earnings of Main Vaapas Aaunga, suggesting that its theatrical run is nearing its conclusion.

With two weeks completed, Cocktail 2 has accumulated Rs. 80.30 crore gross at the Indian box office. Based on its current trajectory, the film is expected to wrap up its domestic run in the Rs. 85–90 crore range.

While the film has outperformed Pati Patni Aur Woh Do and Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai in terms of headline box office numbers, those comparisons require context. External factors had significantly boosted advance bookings, making the underlying performance less encouraging. As a result, the film is unlikely to emerge as a successful theatrical venture despite its respectable gross collections.
