Welcome To The Jungle

Welcome To The Jungle collected Rs. 5 crore on its Day 7 (Thursday), registering a 15 per cent drop from Wednesday. The comedy drama, directed by Ahmed Khan, wrapped up its first week at Rs. 92 crore nett at the Indian box office. Based on current trends, the movie will cross the Rs. 100 crore mark in the second weekend.

The Akshay Kumar starrer film did very well on the first five days, but the last two days of the week saw collections dropping, which could prove detrimental to the film’s chances of becoming a HIT.

The Thursday business is under Bhooth Bangla, while for the rest of the week, the film was ahead of it. It is a SUCCESS, but for HIT it will now HAVE TO stabilise tomorrow and then grow in a big way over the 2nd weekend while facing Alpha. Even then, it will ultimately be how it fares against Dhamaal 4 in the third week, which will be the deciding factor.

The Day Wise Box Office Collections of Welcome to the Jungle in India are as follows:
Day Nett
Previews Rs. 3.75 cr.
Friday Rs. 15.25 cr.
Saturday Rs. 20.50 cr.
Sunday Rs. 24.25 cr.
Monday Rs. 8.25 cr.
Tuesday Rs. 9.00 cr.
Wednesday Rs. 6.00 cr.
Thursday Rs. 5.00 cr. (est.)
Total Rs. 92.00 cr.
