Amid ongoing speculation surrounding his reported exit from Don 3, Ranveer Singh has chosen to remain completely silent on the matter. Dhurandhar: The Revenge star’s team had recently issued a statement mentioning that the actor will not be talking about the controversy in public and maintain a dignified silence.
Ranveer Singh to not give interviews for 18 months
According to Free Press Journal, a trade journalist recently revealed to them Ranveer is determined to stay away from any discussion related to the film. The journalist said, “I met him personally. And he told me he will not speak on the Don 3 controversy, nor will he give any interviews for at least 18 months.” The decision reportedly applies to all media interactions, with interview requests from journalists remaining pending indefinitely.
No interviews until Pralay releases?
According to industry insiders, Ranveer has decided not to speak to the press until the release of Pralay, the upcoming film directed by Jai Mehta. The move has only intensified curiosity around the circumstances that led to his departure from Don 3. Reports suggest that creative disagreements, production delays, and concerns over the film’s final script contributed to the fallout between the actor and the makers.
Despite the apparent distance between Ranveer and producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, industry circles believe the relationship has not reached a point of no return. Reportedly, the Dhurandhar star hopes that filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, who shares a strong professional bond with Singh following Gully Boy, could eventually help bridge the gap between the actor and her brother Farhan.
