Chand Mera Dil

Chand Mera Dil continued its steady run at the box office on its first Tuesday, aided by discounted ticket prices across cinemas. The romantic drama collected an estimated Rs. 1.75 crore on Day 5, witnessing only a 10 percent dip from Monday’s earnings. With this, the film’s total domestic collection has now reached around Rs. 14 crore.

Led by Lakshya and Ananya Panday, the movie is expected to wrap up its opening week with earnings in the range of Rs. 16–17 crore at the Indian box office. Although the overall trajectory of the film appears largely decided, all eyes will now be on whether it can maintain momentum during its second weekend.

The film currently enjoys a relatively open window before the arrival of upcoming releases like Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Peddi, and Bandar, which could impact its theatrical run.

Romantic dramas and medium-budget films have generally struggled to pull audiences to theatres in the post-pandemic era. However, films such as Saiyaara and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat managed to break the trend and emerge as successful box office performers. It remains to be seen if Chand Mera Dil can deliver a similar surprise in the coming days.
