Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role, along with Wamiqa Gabbi, Rakulpreet, and Sara Ali Khan, is about to release in cinemas in a couple of hours. The romantic comedy drama, directed by Mudassar Aziz, recorded a low advance booking for its opening day.
The movie sold around 13,000 tickets in total in the top two national chains, PVR Inox and Cinepolis. That’s even lower than Ayushmann Khurrana’s Doctor G, which already had a low advance. For the record, Doctor G sold around 18,000 tickets in national chains in total, and it had taken an opening of Rs. 3.50 crore only. When compared to other mid-sized rom-coms like Param Sundari and De De Pyaar De 2, the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer trailed far behind.
