About the Film
Thaai Kizhavi tells the story of Pavunuthayi, a 70-year-old matriarch who rules her village with a mix of authority and arrogance as a moneylender. Known for her strong-willed and independent nature, she has always kept a distance from her children. However, when a troubling incident shakes her world, her sons return home, reopening old wounds and sparking a chaotic family dynamic. The film explores how these events ripple through the family and the village, blending humor with heartfelt drama.
