Mardaani 3 Box Office: Rani Mukerji’s Cop Thriller Sees 15% Jump on 2nd Tuesday, Nears ₹40 Crore
Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3 continues to hold steady at the box office. On its second Tuesday, the film saw a 15% rise in collections, largely thanks to discounted ticket prices, adding ₹1.50 crore to its total. This brings the movie’s domestic gross to ₹37.50 crore.
Directed by Abhiraj Minawala, the cop action drama is on track to cross the ₹40 crore mark soon. Its second week is expected to close in the range of ₹14–15 crore.
From the third weekend onward, Mardaani 3 will face competition from Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj’s O Romeo. If it can maintain its momentum against the new release, the film could end its theatrical run around ₹50 crore domestically — a strong result for a female-led action film. Worldwide, the total is projected to reach around ₹65 crore.
One notable aspect is the film’s budget management. While production costs for Mardaani 3 were roughly double that of Mardaani 2, they remain reasonable in today’s market, where film budgets have been rising sharply. Non-theatrical revenue streams have also helped offset costs, contributing to the film’s overall financial health.
