Border 2 Box Office: Sunny Deol’s Military Action Drama Sells 55K Advance Tickets, Eyes Big Opening
Sunny Deol’s much-anticipated Border 2 is off to a solid start at the box office. As of 10 PM on January 21, the military actioner had sold around 55,000 tickets across India’s top cinema chains—PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis—for its opening day. By the next morning, the advance bookings were expected to cross 60,000 tickets, generating roughly Rs 4 crore net even before the first show.
While these numbers are healthy, expectations were higher given the legacy and nostalgia of the Border franchise.
