Dhurandhar Box Office: Ranveer Singh Starrer Enters 7th Week with Record Collections

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has entered its seventh week at the box office, continuing its record-breaking run. On Friday, the film collected approximately Rs. 1.50 crore nett, marking yet another record daily collection for a Hindi film. The previous record was held by Stree 2, which had earned around Rs. 1 crore on its record day.

In terms of week-seven performance, Stree 2 had set the benchmark at Rs. 8.75 crore, and Dhurandhar looks well on track to surpass it. While a Rs. 1.50 crore Friday could typically lead to a weekly total of Rs. 12-13 crore, Dhurandhar’s weekend growth has been slightly slower than recent trends, so a realistic target for the week is Rs. 10-11 crore.

Total Collections and Milestones

So far, Dhurandhar has amassed around Rs. 770 crore nett. By the end of this week, it is expected to reach roughly Rs. 780 crore nett. With the release of the big-ticket film Border 2 next week, collections are likely to dip, and the final tally is projected to settle around Rs. 785-790 crore nett, putting the Rs. 800 crore mark out of reach.

Despite this, Dhurandhar has already secured its place as the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. The movie is approaching 3.5 crore footfalls, which would make it the first Bollywood film to reach that level since Dangal (considering the Hindi version alone; Jawan did it across multiple languages). While it won’t surpass Dangal in total footfalls, the scale of audience engagement is still impressive, especially given the current decline in overall box office attendance compared to the 2010s.

Box Office Breakdown (India)

All-Time Blockbuster?

There’s some debate over whether Dhurandhar should officially be classified as an all-time blockbuster. While crossing the Rs. 800 crore nett mark would have made the label easier, footfalls aren’t quite at Dangal levels, and the record includes strong early-week contributions. A more detailed assessment of its blockbuster status will be released in the coming days.
