Ravi Teja starrer Irumudi continues its sensational run at the box office, delivering another outstanding day at the Telugu box office. The film collected around Rs. 14.50 crore gross on its second Saturday in India, taking its running total to over Rs. 134 crore. With the overseas market contributing more than USD 2 million, the worldwide gross has reached approximately Rs. 153.50 crore.
The film is witnessing an exceptional run in the Telugu states, with its daily collections ranking among the highest ever recorded. Its second Friday emerged as the second-highest-grossing day in the region, narrowly behind RRR in gross collections while reportedly surpassing it in admissions.
On its second Saturday, Irumudi ranked third behind RRR and Pushpa 2, collecting approximately Rs. 13 crore in the Telugu states. The film’s impressive numbers are particularly notable given that it is not a solo release, with limited showcasing and relatively lower ticket prices restricting its potential for further growth.
The Telugu states have contributed around Rs. 120 crore in nine days, with the film expected to reach approximately Rs. 135 crore by the end of its second Saturday. It is on course to cross the Rs. 150 crore mark in the Telugu states before the end of the week, after which the focus will shift towards the Rs. 200 crore milestone, which could be achieved sometime in its fourth week.
Nizam is emerging as a particularly strong territory for the film and could contribute around Rs. 100 crore in gross collections during its theatrical run. Ravi Teja holds the Nizam distributor rights as part of his remuneration, potentially giving him a share of more than Rs. 50 crore compared with his usual acting fee of around Rs. 7–8 crore.
