Awarapan 2 entered the second week with a good hold. The Emraan Hashmi starrer added Rs. 4.75 crore to the tally on its second Friday, registering a 10-12 per cent drop from the previous day. The 8-day running cume of Awarapan 2 reached Rs. 116.25 crore nett at the Indian box office.
Backed by Vishesh Films, the movie is expected to see a solid spike on Saturday and Sunday. It is looking to wrap its second weekend around the Rs. 20 crore mark, which will take its total cume to Rs. 130 crore or so. The movie will reach the Rs. 150 crore nett mark in its full run, if it maintains a strong hold against Yash-starrer Toxic.
Had there been no strong competition from Toxic, it would have had good potential to go even much higher at the box office. Nevertheless, the Emraan Hashmi-led romantic drama has already emerged as a Super Hit venture.

Awarapan 2 is a sequel to the 2007 film, which was a DISASTER upon its original release but later garnered a cult following.
